bagel prep + serve
Yard Sale Bagels is a small sourdough bagel shop running a food trailer five days a week. We're hiring two part-time people to help us prep, bake, and serve.
The schedule
We're open Wednesday through Sunday, closed Mondays and Tuesdays. You'll work 3–4 days a week, roughly 20–25 hours total.
Which days:
- Saturday and Sunday, every week. This position requires working both weekend days.
- Plus one or two weekdays — Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. The ability to work any of these days is preferred.
Two kinds of shifts, and you'll do both:
- Trailer — 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You open the trailer, serve, and close it down.
- Dough + trailer — 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You mix dough at our kitchen first, then head over to the trailer. Usually a couple days a week.
What you'll do
- Take orders and run the POS
- Open the trailer
- Slice and prep bagels and sandwiches, and serve customers through the morning rush
- Mix bagel dough at our commissary kitchen
- Close down the trailer, dishes, and cleanup
What we're looking for
- Available Saturday and Sunday every week
- Comfortable with early morning starts
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Food prep or service experience is a plus, not a requirement. We're willing to train the right person.
Pay and benefits
- $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience. Plus tips.

bagel shaper
Yard Sale Bagels is a small sourdough bagel shop running a food trailer five days a week. We're hiring two part-time people to help us shape bagels.
The schedule
You'll work a consistent 5 day schedule every week, roughly 15 hours total.
- Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
What you'll do
- Shape bagels
- Prep/measure ingredients
- Light dishes and clean up
What we're looking for
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Food prep or service experience is a plus, not a requirement. We're willing to train the right person.
Pay and benefits
- $18–$21 per hour, depending on experience
